Abby Borden (Abby Durfee Grey) - Step-mother to Lizzie Borden and Emma Borden, she was married to Andrew Borden three years after the death of Sarah Borden. preferred to save his money rather than live in the rich part of Fall River with the other Bordens. He was very frugal with his spending and rarely gave any of his money to his daughters. He owned many properties including 3 houses and a farm. A few years prior to the murder, he gave his wife Abby a home, which she rented to her sister. In response, his daughters demanded something from him as well, and were given a smaller house which they then sold back to Andrew.

Emma Borden - Sister of Lizzie Borden and growing up with her during their childhood and adulthood, Emma was Lizzie's closest friend until she left Lizzie after the trial due to Lizzie's lack of care... or perhaps other reasons. Defending Lizzie in her trial wholeheartedly, she was absent the day of the murder on a pleasure trip in another city.

Bridget Sulivan - Maid of the Borden family living with them. On the day of the murder, Bridget was washing windows outside. When she came in to let Andrew Borden in, she recalled hearing a maniacal laugh coming from upstairs around 9:30, the time of Abby Borden's murder, coming from what sounded exactly like Lizzie. Bridget testified against Lizzie in the trial.
